Alentejo

Caravels set sail from here for unknown waters

In the southwest of Portugal, the Costa Vicentina natural Park extends from Porto Covo to Sagres, including rounding the Cabo de São Vicente and the Promontório.

This is a wild Algarve, with endless sandy shores and beaches surrounded by shale and limestone cliffs.

The sea is rough like the audacity of men

On the opposite direction, you have Alentejo, until São Torpes, next to Sines. Here, Cante Alentejano* cannot be heard, only the North wind and its waves. An abundant landscape, spread between the sea and the mountains, rich in flora and fauna biodiversity. All in all, 110 kilometres of coastline, 131 thousand hectares of protected area to avoid human threats.
