Perhaps the best way to start the day. Everything is served fresh at breakfast time. The Sunlight. The aroma of fresh cofee. The lemongrass tea. The fruit. The cheese and somked ham. The orange juice is out of this world. All you have to do is go outside into the garden and pluck the choicest, fattest oranges and tangerines off the trees and squeeze them. But the best of all is the Alentejo bread. First thing in the morning, someone from the staff drives 10 kms to the local bakery, which still operates the old tradicional open fire ovens. And the bread tastes out of this world.
