The horse guide can take you practically anywhere you wish to see.You may just want to go and “get all natured up”, or perhaps ride through the hills and the bush to the sea. The guides will accompany you on your treks, and it is a really great experience for families with kids. |

Horse riding for the little ones ............................................................... Herdade da Matinha conducts 1/2 hour lessons for kids and adults alike; it is a fabulous place to learn given the agricultural and horse riding heritage the Alentejo has.

Horse crazy ................................................... If you have horses, you can bring them with you. Matinha has spare boxes and paddocks. There are no roads in the local vicinty of H d M, so the horses will feel at home in nature.

Let’s face it. Everyone feels a bit peckish after a ride. So ask Alfredo and Mónica for what type of sandwich you’d like before you set off, so that you take something really tasty with you on your ride.

Imagine a group of you decide to trek off to the beach on horseback.We’ll come and meet you armed with a basketful of homemade goodies for lunch. (For a group of 8 or more).
